Carrant Brook Junior School provides excellent facilities for children aged 7-11. Deputy Headteacher (with strategic responsibilities for Inclusion, Pastoral and Attendance)
We welcome applications for 0.8 FTE. This role includes 0.4 DHT release time and 0.4 teaching responsibility in KS2. Salary: Leadership scale L3‑L7. Closing date: Midday on Monday 18th May 2026. Interview date: Thursday 21st May 2026. Start date: 1st September 2026.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to work across our 'Two Schools' as Deputy Headteacher and help drive the next phase of our journey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious practitioner who is passionate about securing strong foundations for every child and strengthening our "Two Schools, One Community" vision for both Northway Infants and Carrant Brook Juniors.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a central role in shaping our strategic direction and supporting high quality inclusive, pastoral provision across the two schools. You will help nurture a culture where, through our SHINE vision, children are encouraged to be Safe, Happy, Independent, Never give up and Excel to be the best they can be!
As a teacher, you will model excellent inclusive and adaptive classroom practice and teaching in KS2.
