About Us
Prince Henry’s is an over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1660 students, including around 350 in the Sixth Form. Our Ofsted Report (November 2024) confirms us as an outstanding school across all areas. Job Description
Prince Henry’s Grammar School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join the catering team.
NJC Grade A1 Scale Point 2. Actual Salary £17,292.32 Per Annum. Permanent – 30 hours Per Week. Required March 2026. Term Time Only, Plus 8 Additional Days.
The successful candidate will assist and support in the provision of a high quality catering service in line with Prince Henry\’s Grammar School and government requirements. Working hours for this permanent post are Monday – Friday from 8.00am to 2.30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break. The post is term-time only, plus 8 additional days.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- English & Mathematics GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent (desirable)
- Knowledge of basic Food Hygiene Regulations and be able to demonstrate high levels of personal hygiene
- The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team communicating with others as a group or one to one
- The ability to prepare basic ingredients e.g. salad, fruit, vegetables.
