Macildowie are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a large social housing organisation who manage over 10,000 properties across the East of England and Home Counties who are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner with a background in development to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and make a meaningful impact on the delivery of affordable homes.

For this role it is essential you have recent experience within a social housing organisation of comparable size and scale and so would ideally need to be a minimum of 5,000 homes or larger.

Finance Business Partner Remit

This role is reporting into the Senior Finance Manager and will reflect a typical Finance Business partnering role but within the development area of the organisation. This would only be suitable if your current or previous role was purely development focused or a predominantly development focused role and would not be suitable if you briefly crossed over say 5-10% of a role. You will need to have prior experience collaborating with the sales teams and understand the nuances of development within a social housing organisation.

Minimum Requirements
  • Social housing experience within a provider of greater than 5,000 homes
  • They are open to individuals qualified by experience or part qualified
  • Depth of development experience specifically within a social housing organisation of comparable scale and complexity. They need the individual to have experience within areas including the following: development appraisals, working with sales teams, NROSH returns and Recycled Capital Grant Fund (RCGF) etc.
