Location: Lincoln & Working from home

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 OTE - Uncapped Bonus Potential (Basic Salary: £28,000)

Employment Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours: 8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, or 9am-5pm)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid - flexible, mostly remote with occasional office presence

Macildowie are working with a highly-flexible client based in Lincoln to recruit a Telesales Deputy Team Leader for an industry-leading provider within their respective sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with B2B telesales, account management and Supervisory/Team Leader experience to join a forward-thinking and transparent organisation undergoing team growth and a strategic transformation.

In this Deputy Team Leader role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 Telesales Account Managers whilst still being hands-on with the account management side of the role. Your bonus will be pro-rata'd fairly by the amount of time sacrificed on leading your team in comparison to the time spent actively pursuing new and existing business.

You will need to navigate a range of stakeholders - from gatekeepers to local authorities to headteachers - with the ability to identify opportunities, build a pipeline, and be confident in handling any queries within the team. An ability to understand legislative frameworks plus a commitment to your personal brand and reputation are key.

This business champions flexibility, offering remote working with an organic in-office presence based on individual preferences. As long as you are within a two-hour commute, you will have the autonomy to decide when to collaborate in person. Regular training and all-expenses-paid team events also add to a supportive and people-focused culture.

What we are looking for:

  • A candidate who lives within a 2-hour drive from Lincoln
  • Previous experience of leading a team in a similar Telesales environment
  • 2+ years of Account Management and cold-calling experience
  • Consultative and confident communicator
  • Ability to identify and convert decision-makers
  • Passionate about building and maintaining a professional reputation
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and resilience
