Macildowie are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a large social housing organisation who manage over 10,000 properties across the East of England and Home Counties who are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and make a meaningful impact on the delivery of affordable homes.

For this role it is essential you have recent experience within a social housing organisation of comparable size and scale and so would need to be a minimum of 5,000 homes or larger.

Benefits
  • Predominantly remote - infrequent travel that will be a maximum of once per month
  • Paying up to £60,000
  • Pension - will provide double the employee's contribution up to 10%
Finance Manager Remit

This role is reporting into the Senior Finance Manager and will include business partnering with non-finance stakeholders, budgeting and forecasting and financial reporting. It will also include some of the day to day on the financial accounting side with the consolidation of accounts and assisting in annual audit processes supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Group FD with wider strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
  • Social housing experience within a provider of greater than 5,000 homes
  • Experienced with excel and intermediate level formula, confident manipulating large volumes of data
  • Experience with both management and financial accounting
  • Financial Reporting and experience relaying to board level
