We are seeking a Finance Analyst to provide high-quality financial insight and analysis across our operational functions. This role has a strong focus on Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Nursing Teams, Logistics, and the wider operational cost base, including overheads. Working closely with operational leaders, you will lead budgeting and forecasting activities, support effective cost control, and contribute to informed decision-making through robust analysis and financial modelling.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a finance business partner to operational teams, providing insight, challenge and financial support to budget holders
- Lead annual budgeting and regular forecasting cycles for operational and overhead cost centres
- Analyse cost drivers and performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for efficiency
- Prepare business cases, scenario models and cost-benefit analyses for operational and strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and reporting to monitor financial and operational performance
- Meet regularly with budget holders to review variances and financial results
- Support month-end reporting, including commentary and performance packs focused on operational areas
- Contribute to transformation and improvement initiatives, including workflow and resource optimisation
- Work closely with Financial Accounting and Commercial Finance to ensure accurate reporting and aligned planning
Experience
- At least 5 years' experience in a financial analysis or finance business partnering role
- Experience working with operational and overhead cost bases
- Proven ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple departments
- Strong data analysis and financial modelling capability
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (qualified or finalist considered, depending on experience)

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of three days per week in the Swadlincote office.
