Macildowie Recruitment & Retention – Supply Chain, Procurement & LogisticsSupply Chain Planner / Demand Planner – Up to £35,000 Per AnnumMonday – Friday, 8am – 5pm – Burton upon TrentMacildowie Supply Chain & Procurement is delighted to have exclusively collaborated with a reputable and growing manufacturing business based in Burton on Trent to recruit a Supply Chain Planner / Demand Planner.The key objective is to hold a background in stock/inventory management and to lead on Supply Chain objectives including supply planning and stock forecasting.Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of our clients stock supply relative to general stock &/or key account demand.
- Perform key analysis and interpretation of basic and intermediate stock information using a variety of Microsoft packages including Excel.
- Supporting with purchase order requirements whilst considering all influences and being in line with company stock holding policies.
- Responsible for collection, key account, item & purchase order lifecycles.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, whilst developing key relationships with customers.
- Promote supply chain via collaboration, improvement, and delivery of Supply Chain goals.
- Daily assistance of order pipeline to ensure order fulfilment.
- Plan stock inventory and place purchase orders with suppliers as necessary to maintain appropriate stock cover.
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key supply chain metrics and performance indicators.
- Analyse competitor lead times to highlight opportunities for improving SLAs.
The Candidate
- Previous experience operating in a Supply Chain Planner / Demand Planner role or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Able to commute to Burton upon Trent.
- Comfortable user of Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Manufacturing / FMCG background.
