Macildowie Recruitment is supporting a small specialist registered housing provider in the appointment of a permanent Social Housing Property Compliance Manager role. This is an ideal role for individuals looking to step up into their first management role or for more experienced individuals who are looking for a role with purpose that offers a genuine work-life balance.
This is a role with true purpose supporting the local community - working closely with the senior management team, you will provide specialist regulatory advice, assurance and challenge to ensure the organisation meets its statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards and Housing Ombudsman requirements.
- Monitor health safety compliance and risk management across the housing portfolio.
- Provide oversight and assurance of managing agents and external service providers.
- Develop and review compliance policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Provide advice, guidance and training on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Support compliance with Awaab’s Law and wider housing legislation.
