Macildowie has exclusively partnered with a manufacturing business in Stafford to recruit a CAD Design Manager.

The key objective is to lead an established in-house design team responsible for developing and mentoring team members, improving design processes, driving standardisation and automation.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Design Team, overseeing priorities, workload, performance, development, resource planning and delivery of project outputs.
  • Drive the continuous development of the Design function through improved processes, new technologies, standardised solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for technical queries, providing guidance and support to the Design Team.
  • Drive design automation and standardisation across the function.
  • Review and approve design packs prior to submission to clients.
  • Develop practical solutions for non-standard applications, working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners.
