About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MIS Team Leader to support the day-to-day management of our small MIS team. This role will involve overseeing checks, validations, and the administration of both student and employer data, ensuring compliance and accuracy at all times.

This is a temporary role until December with full time hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of a small team of MIS staff, ensuring all data processes are completed to a high standard.
  • Oversee checks, validations, and administration relating to student and employer records.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to curriculum teams on technical queries and funding-related issues, in line with internal policies.
  • Support the organisation in navigating multiple FE funding methodologies, with a strong focus on Apprenticeships.
  • Contribute knowledge and experience of complex funding streams, including 16–19, ASF, and Tailored Learning.
  • Work with information systems (ideally ProSolution) and ensure best practice in data security, audits, and compliance.
  • Support the organisation through its current MIS integration process, recognising the challenges of operating across two ProSolution systems as we move towards a single streamlined solution.

About You

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with the flexibility and expertise to thrive in a changing environment.

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship funding and end-to-end operational processes.
  • Experience in further education funding methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of MIS systems (ProSolution desirable).
  • Ability to translate complex technical and funding requirements into clear guidance for non-specialists.
  • A proactive approach, with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
