Senior FP&A Analyst Fixed Term Contract (8 Months) £60,000 – £80,000 | East Midlands | Hybrid working An opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join a high-profile UK organisation on a fixed-term basis. This role sits within a central finance function supporting senior leadership and multiple business units, offering genuine exposure to strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.This is a role for someone who enjoys going beyond the numbers partnering with stakeholders, providing insight, and influencing outcomes through high-quality analysis and clear communication. The Role You will work closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams, delivering insightful analysis and robust management information. The work is a blend of recurring reporting and bespoke, value-adding analysis, with visibility across performance, forecasting and strategic planning.Key responsibilities include: Producing weekly and monthly management information packs to a high professional standard Delivering insightful analysis to support business decisions and performance management Providing regular and ad-hoc reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities Supporting data preparation and analysis for external reporting and senior presentations Improving reporting efficiency and championing continuous process improvement Acting as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders across the organisation What We\’re Looking For Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Strong FP&A background within a complex organisation Highly analytical, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insight Excellent Excel skills; Power BI experience highly desirable Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow interactions Confident communicator, comfortable challenging and being challenged Resilient, proactive and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy Available at short notice Suitable for candidates between roles or seeking a high-quality contract assignmentIf you\’re a commercially minded FP&A professional looking for your next impactful interim role, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a visible and influential position.
