Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a passion for reporting and analysis? We're working with a well-known Leicester-based business to recruit an Accounts Payable Reporting Assistant on an initial 12-week temporary contract, with the strong potential to go permanent. This is a fully office-based role and a fantastic opportunity to step into a position where your impact will be immediate and valued.

Salary: Up To £16ph

Contract: 12 week Temporary (strong potential for perm)

This role goes beyond transactional processing. You'll play a key role in supporting the wider finance team by owning GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) reporting, driving payment run analysis, and acting as the bridge between Accounts Payable and Sales Ledger. It's ideal for someone with a strong AP background who enjoys data, reporting, and bringing insight to the numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of GRNI reporting and analysis
  • Lead on Prompt Payment processing and payment run analysis
  • Act as the liaison between the Accounts Payable and Sales Ledger teams
  • Deliver accurate, timely reports to support decision-making
  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process
  • Support the team through a busy period and add value from day one

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills - Excel proficiency is essential
  • Confident working independently and communicating across teams
