Job Description
Salesforce Developer – Flexible Hybrid (Commutable to Nottingham)
- Location: Hybrid (Remote & Nottingham as required)
- Type: Full-Time Permanent

We're looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer ready to design and deliver scalable, impactful Salesforce solutions. This is a great opportunity to join a flexible, innovative team where your work directly supports customer experience and business growth.
The role is mostly remote but you must be able to get to Nottingham for occasional in-person meetings.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and customise Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools
- Implement and support integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and (where used) Mulesoft
- Enhance and maintain Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments for optimal performance and usability
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality deployments and smooth releases
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Resolve bugs and performance issues in the Salesforce platform, ensuring long-term system health
- Champion Salesforce best practices across development, security, and scalability
- Contribute to process improvements, platform optimisation, and end-user experience
- Document technical work and contribute to team knowledge sharing
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, triggers, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, integration techniques, and governor limits
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud is a bonus)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II or additional certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source control (e.g., GitHub)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with great problem-solving skills
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g. financial services) is a plus
