Hours: Either 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9pm-6pm

Macildowie are working with this client based in Nottingham to recruit a flexible and driven Marketing & Sales Executive to join a well-established team of five across the Marketing & Sales department. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a dual-role function, working across both marketing and sales to support the business's ambitious growth journey. One extremely appealing aspect of this position are the opportunities to progress within the company, whilst having the opportunity to focus solely on the Marketing or Sales side in the future.

We are open to speaking with Graduates who have Marketing-relevant Placement or Internship experience. Reporting to the General Manager, you will split your time evenly between marketing and sales activity, contributing directly to brand awareness and new business development. You'll be working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, supporting both digital content creation and proactive customer engagement.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Content creation for social media, email campaigns and the website
  • Updating and managing WordPress websites
  • Using MailChimp and Hootsuite for campaign delivery and scheduling
  • Creating visual assets using tools like Canva or Photoshop
  • Capturing high-quality imagery and videos for marketing use
  • Supporting PPC, social strategy and brand development

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with potential customers through calls and follow-ups
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of commercial vehicle products and services
  • Managing CRM systems and customer pipelines
  • Supporting lead generation campaigns and business development strategies
  • Assisting with conflict resolution and ensuring customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:

  • Around 1 year of marketing experience, ideally in a commercial or B2B setting
  • Basic understanding of conflict management
  • Exposure to sales environments or business development - desirable
  • Wordpress experience - desirable
  • MailChimp, Hootsuite, or similar - desirable
  • Social Media scheduling: Facebook/Linked In/Newsletters/Website - desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Creative flair with attention to detail and organisational strength
