Macildowie are working with this client based in Hinckley to recruit an experienced Sales Executive within the apparel and accessories sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and working closely with high street retail and supermarket customers.
The Role
- You will act as a key point of contact for customer orders, costing, sampling and stock queries, while supporting the development of existing and new customer relationships.
- You will work closely with internal teams across design, QA, licensing, supply chain and account management to ensure product delivery, customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with buyers and key retail contacts.
- Identify new markets, customers and commercial opportunities.
- Manage product pricing, margins, costing and sample queries.
- Support product critical paths across design, QA, licensing and supply chain.
- Gather market insight and competitor intelligence.
- Cross-sell products and services across customer accounts.
- Attend customer meetings, internal meetings, launches and promotional activity.
- Maintain strong communication between customers and internal departments.
- Support compliance with relevant textile and sustainability standards.
About You
- At least 2 years’ sales experience, ideally within apparel, accessories, fashion or a related sector.
- Experience selling into high street retail, supermarket or major retail channels.
- Proven success winning new business and onboarding customers.
- Confident communicator with a consultative sales style.
- Commercially aware, numerate and comfortable using data.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- European languages would be advantageous.
