Macildowie are working with a client based in Rugby who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Assistant to support across both recruitment and training. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their HR and resourcing experience in a people-focused and process-driven environment.
Working closely with the HR Business Partner and wider management team, you'll play a key role in delivering efficient end-to-end recruitment and supporting the coordination of training across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment
- Proactively source talent using job boards, social media, and networking
- Carry out right to work checks and reference collection
- Maintain and update the employee database with new starter details
- Report on recruitment activity and identify process improvements
- Training
- Maintain training records and book sessions using PowerApps, Excel, and Unit4
- Handle logistics such as venues, accommodation, catering, and course materials
- General HR Admin
- Ensure HR system data is accurate and up to date
- Send internal HR comms such as announcements and policy updates
- Dispatch welcome packs and oversee employee surveys
- Support the HR team with ad-hoc projects and general administration
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or HR coordination is required. Confident using job boards and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) and proficient with Excel and comfortable working with systems like Unit4. REC (CertRP) qualification is a bonus, but not essential.
