Job Description

Our client, is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Northampton. This role does offer hybrid and flexible working.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring full compliance with UK tax legislation and supporting strategic tax planning across the business. You'll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, helping to optimise tax reliefs and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit Corporation Tax computations and QIP's
  • Handle VAT returns and first-level tax reviews
  • Collaborate with consultants on R&D tax claims
  • Support audit processes and tax forecasting
  • Drive tax policy, planning, and compliance initiatives
  • Provide internal advisory on employment tax and payroll
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development

We're looking for a qualified (or part-qualified) professional with:

  • CTA or ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
