The contract will start October 2026 (mid) and end August 2027 (early-mid). My client, a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Nottingham, is recruiting an organised and experienced Office Finance Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a varied role offering plenty of responsibility, where you'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts / Bookkeeping / Finance
- Sole bookkeeper for company
- Banking reconciliation
- Credit card reconciliation
- Managing DLA
- Purchase Ledger invoices
- Sales Ledger invoices
- Debt chasing
- Payment run
- Employee expenses
- Reports on sales, cash flow, project profits, etc.
- Assets depreciation
- Payroll
- Process workshop paper timesheets weekly
- Keep track of overtime for office
- Sage 50 Accounts journal
- Assist with any employee queries
- Sales / Project Support
- Arrange meetings for Director
- Support for costing, checking supplier costs, etc.
- Quotations
- Chasing quotations
- Customer queries
- Keep up to date with cost variations
- Book hotels, trains, etc.
