We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Residential Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly conveyancing team based in the heart of Nottingham city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a top Midlands law firm, supporting fee earners on a wide range of residential property matters within a highly regarded and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial support to residential conveyancing fee earners
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements
- Managing client files from instruction through to completion
- Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within residential conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
- Excellent typing and IT skills (experience with case management systems is desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
