An established and reputable law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their Accounts Team. This is a key role supporting the smooth and compliant running of the firm’s financial operations, particularly across client and office accounts in line with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules. You’ll work closely with the wider finance team and internal departments, playing an important part in maintaining accurate records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring high standards of financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, bills, credit notes, and financial transactions
  • Manage client and office account postings, payments, and transfers
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations
  • Support credit control and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Process purchase ledger invoices and assist with payment runs
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Support VAT returns and financial reporting
