About the Role:
As Finance Officer, you will support the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all processes. You will work closely with the AP Team Leader, providing support across reporting, reconciliations, payments and team development, while also helping to drive improvements within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Accounts Payable-related projects and process improvements.
- Provide support and cover for the AP Team Leader when required.
- Assist with reporting progress and figures to management.
- Investigate and resolve historic discrepancies and outstanding queries.
- Manage supplier credit notes and refunds due.
- Monitor and manage unidentified cash held on expenditure bank reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, internal controls and company procedures.
