I'm currently working with a well-established and growing business based in Milton Keynes who are looking to appoint a Qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to take ownership of management reporting and support key business decisions. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts and providing insightful analysis to senior stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
- Cash flow forecasting and financial analysis
- Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting
- Continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Previous experience in a management accounting role
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working to deadlines
