HR Coordinator - £15 per hour - On-Site - Nottingham - Temporary to Permanent
Macildowie Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and values-driven organisation in Nottingham to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator on a full-time, temporary basis for 3 months , with a strong possibility of going permanent .
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR experience to join a passionate team and make a real impact from day one.
The role is fully on-site and pays up to £15 per hour , depending on experience.
The Role
As HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the full HR function-from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and employee relations.
This role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate HR records and update databases
- Process new starters, leavers, contractual changes and absence data.
- Support the payroll process by ensuring all updates are submitted accurately and on time.
- Handle recruitment administration, onboarding tasks, and compliance checks.
- Respond to internal HR queries and provide policy guidance to staff and managers.
- Assist with HR reporting, learning & development coordination, and project work.
About You
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally HR systems such as Cascade.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Payroll and recruitment admin experience would be advantageous.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
