The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Payroll Pensions Advisor to join an established payroll function in Leicester on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge who is comfortable dealing with more complex queries and providing guidance to colleagues across the payroll team. This is not a Payroll Coordinator position. The successful candidate will need the confidence and technical understanding to act as a senior point of support, helping colleagues resolve more complicated payroll and pensions matters.
The Role
Working within a collaborative payroll and pensions team, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services while providing knowledgeable advice to employees, managers and colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll queries.
- Providing technical payroll support and guidance to Payroll Coordinators.
- Reviewing payroll information and identifying discrepancies.
- Supporting payroll processing, checking and reconciliation activities.
- Advising employees and managers on payroll and pensions matters.
