Job Description: Legal Secretary – Family Law Location: Stoke Salary: £26,000 per annum (to be reviewed in May 2025) Employment Type: Permanent About the Role: My client is looking for a diligent and highly organised Legal Secretary to join their Family Law department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of managing a high volume, quick turnaround caseload. This position is focused on providing comprehensive administrative support to their family law solicitors, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Key Responsibilities: Provide secretarial support to solicitors in the Family Law department. Manage a high-volume caseload with quick turnaround times. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence. Handle client enquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and sensitivity. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates. Maintain and organise client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date. Assist with billing and time recording.
