Macildowie is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established legal firm.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual looking to provide key secretarial and administrative support within a busy Commercial Property department .
Please note, you MUST have prior experience as a Legal Secretary.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting a team of lawyers within the Commercial Property.
- Providing general secretarial and administrative services, including audio typing/digital dictation.
- Managing client communication via telephone and in person.
- Handling the filing, storage, and retrieval of client files/documents in line with firm procedures.
- Setting up new files efficiently and accurately.
- Amending and formatting legal documents to align with company standards.
- Diary management - scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Operating photocopying and binding equipment to meet documentation needs.
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of firm and client information.
- Understanding and applying the firm's money laundering, regulatory, and compliance procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable approach with a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work well within a team and provide proactive support.
