Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, commercial environment? We're working with a successful business seeking a confident and capable senior management accounting professional who can step straight into the role and provide immediate support for c6 months.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, including insightful commentary on variances and performance drivers.
- Partnering closely with operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Developing financial models and scenario planning tools to aid strategic decision-making across the business.
- Conducting cost and performance analysis, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improved profitability.
- Delivering clear, concise financial reports and KPIs to senior operational stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly experienced in producing full management accounts packs, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Professionally qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience with a strong commercial track record.
- Confident user of Excel with advanced skills (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas).
- Strong communicator with proven experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and providing financial insights.
