What you'll do:

  • Lead the development and delivery of group-level monthly financial reporting, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Assess existing reporting tools and make recommendations and improvements as required.
  • Design and build scalable reporting templates and financial models using Excel or other suitable systems/tools.
  • Create and manage a clear group reporting calendar and month-end close timetable.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, supporting scenario planning and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to embed standardised processes and improve reporting quality.
  • Deliver clear, insightful performance commentary to senior stakeholders and support board reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial governance and ensure audit readiness and compliance in line with UK GAAP/IFRS.

What you'll need:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience, with a strong background in group finance.
  • Proven track record in financial consolidation, reporting and planning processes.
  • Sound technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • A commercial, solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical capability.
  • Advanced Excel skills; savvy with various accounting systems.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A process-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
