We're working with a growing business in need of an experienced Interim Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support during a busy period. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail and can hit the ground running.
What you'll do:
- Take ownership of the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and deliver management accounts with insightful commentary
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data
- Support with variance analysis and provide key information to aid decision making
- Identify and implement process improvements where needed
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth reporting cycles
- Provide support to the wider finance team as required
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally at Finance Manager level
- Strong understanding of month-end close and management accounts
- Excellent reconciliation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident Excel user and comfortable working with large data sets
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or demonstrably QBE
