Job Description
Interim Finance / AccountantDay Rate: £250-£300 (Umbrella)Contract Length: c3 MonthsLocation: Office basedStart Date: ASAPWe are looking for an experienced interim finance professional to support our clients finance team during a crucial year-end period. This 3-month role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic finance function, focusing on key areas of financial accounting and asset reporting.Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain IFRS16 lease database to ensure accuracy and completeness for year-end reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to validate lease data across various business units.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the fixed asset accounting process, including reconciliations and asset register updates.
- Assist with broader financial accounting tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Strong background in financial accounting, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS16 lease accounting and data management.
- Previous involvement in fixed asset accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
