Macildowie are working with this client based in Nottingham to recruit an HR Officer to join their growing people team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious HR professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. Working within a close-knit HR team of just two and reporting directly into the HR Director, you'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle and have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of HR activities and projects. This role would suit someone who has at least 12 months' experience within a HR Administration, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator position and is eager to broaden their HR knowledge in a supportive environment.

The Role

As HR Officer, you'll support the delivery of a comprehensive HR service across the business, working closely with managers and employees on a range of people-related matters. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Maintaining employee records and HR systems
  • Assisting with employee relations cases and HR queries
  • Supporting absence management and performance processes
  • Producing HR reports and people data
