HR Consultant
Macildowie are working with a growing business to recruit an HR Consultant (Documents).
This is to work within their HR consultancy team, offering plenty of scope to develop and progress.
The primary focus of the role is compliance carrying out HR audits, drafting HR documentation, and supporting clients with their HR needs.
Alongside this, you'll gain exposure to employee relations cases, restructures, and projects, with training and development to help you grow your expertise.
About the Role
- Manage and support a portfolio of clients, ensuring HR compliance and high-quality service delivery in line with agreed SLAs.
- Conduct HR audits, including compliance checks and gap analysis.
- Draft HR documentation including contracts of employment, handbooks, policies, and procedures in line with employment law and client needs.
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure documents are relevant and compliant for their business and industry.
- Provide initial employee relations advice to clients, attending meetings as a note-taker and shadowing senior consultants.
- Prepare clear, professional reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with the wider HR and H&S teams to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
- Opportunity to get hands-on exposure to ER cases, restructures, and compliance projects, with training and support provided.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced generalist HR role (compliance, documents, or advisory).
- Strong understanding of HR documentation, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills confident, resilient, and client-facing.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- IT literate confident using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
