FP&A Manager Location: North LeicesterSalary: Up to £80,000 per annum + Benefits

About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Manager to join a large, listed UK business during a period of transformation and growth. This is a high-profile role within a central Group Finance function, with a focus on understanding and managing Cost of Goods Sold and Work in Progress across the organisation.

You will be part of a dedicated FP&A team responsible for providing high-quality financial insight to senior leadership, enabling strategic decision-making and driving operational efficiency. Reporting to a senior finance leader and managing one analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for key cost and balance sheet areas, while influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead cost analysis and financial control for COGS, ensuring transparency across material, labour, and infrastructure spend.Monitor and assess WIP balances, understanding the impact of capital investment and build progress on results and cashflow.Own forecasting and budgeting processes for COGS and WIP at Group level.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, collaborating with operational and finance teams.Partner with senior leaders to provide insight into cost efficiency, risks, and opportunities, with a strong focus on operational relationships.Support external reporting, providing clear and investor-focused commentary on cost control and capital deployment.Drive process improvements to enhance cost visibility, financial accuracy, and efficiency.Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial projections in relation to COGS and WIP.Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior stakeholders.

About YouWe're looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. You will bring:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience (PQE) in either practice and industry or purely industry.Strong commercial finance expertise with a deep understanding of COGS and WIP drivers.Experience within a listed company environment, ideally with exposure to investor relations or Board-level reporting.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to create robust forecasts and scenario analyses.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge senior leaders.A continuous improvement mindset, capable of driving change in processes and analysis.
