Job Description
Macildowie Finance are currently working with the UK division of large multinational business, based in Nuneaton, to recruit a Financial Controller.
The business has several high profile clients and is a major player in their respective industry. They have ambitious plans for further growth and this role will play a key part in supporting the next phase of this business' growth.
You will be reporting jointly in to the UK Managing Director and the Parent Company CFO and you will be exposed to all areas of this dynamic and exciting business, providing high quality, timely and accurate management reporting and information, driving profitability and supporting key decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:Ensuring Financial Reporting is compliant with appropriate standards UK GAAP and IFRS.Owning the month end management accounts production – ensuring they are provided to the business/directors in a timely and accurate manner.Supporting operational teams in the review of P and L's, budgeting and forecasting activities.Business planning/scenario modelling assisting operations in their strategic decision making process.Drive a cost management agenda – highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains.Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.Management, coaching and development of a small team.Managing key 3rd party relationships for the UK business including outsourced accounting support, auditors etc. About You To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA QualifiedAn experienced Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must)A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholdersPrevious experience of Contract/Project Accounting and of costings/BOM's would be advantageous
