Finance Manager – £55,000 to £65,000 per annumLocation: DerbyType: Full-time, Permanent

A leading manufacturer and supplier within the engineering and pipeline solutions sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their established and growing team in Derby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, contribute to strategic decision-making, and support continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash management.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insight and support to senior management and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including VAT returns and year-end audit preparation.
• Streamline and improve financial systems and processes for greater efficiency.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or QBE with substantial relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong technical accounting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Confident in financial reporting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Benefits:

• Salary of £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
