This opportunity is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in account management - maintaining accounts, retaining accounts, negotiating, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. The role requires proficiency in (or an understanding of) contract management and the ability to navigate complex commercial conversations and agreements.
This position is available due to an internal promotion. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will be part of a small, close-knit team of 8 Account Managers altogether. Whilst this is a small immediate team, the organisation is large as a whole so effective internal stakeholder management is essential.
- Manage a portfolio of around 15 ongoing client accounts.
- Oversee contractual agreements, including annual reviews and inflation-linked fee adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding.
- Utilise various internal systems and portals to access and report client data.
- Engage in strategic discussions to identify opportunities for service improvement and growth.
Demonstrated experience in client account management with some understanding and/or experience in contract management and commercial negotiations. Proven experience of dealing with new client management software & Microsoft Office Suite.
25 days starting holiday entitlement, with the option to buy or sell days. Discretionary objective-related bonus scheme. Hybrid working model post-probation.
