We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Data to join our Digital team in Birmingham. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, leveraging your expertise in data analytics, cloud warehousing, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a critical role in developing our Snowflake environment, ensuring accurate and timely data is delivered to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, ERDs, and user stories
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
- Perform data discovery, modelling, and process optimisation
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions
- Support testing and validation of solutions (including UAT)
- Create mock reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate insights
- Prepare detailed documentation covering requirements, processes, and solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in technical/data projects
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret complex information
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and workflow/requirement tools - DevOps
- Understanding of business operations, financial modelling, and process mapping
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prior experience with Snowflake preferred
- Background in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
