We’re working with a well-established business in NW Leicestershire who are looking to bring in a part-time Assistant Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance who is looking for flexibility while maintaining exposure to month-end and management accounts activity.
The Role
You’ll support the finance function across a range of month-end and reporting activities, including:
- Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with management accounts processes
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintaining and reconciling central overheads
- Producing ad hoc financial reports
- Supporting statutory and survey reporting (e.g. ONS returns)
- Reviewing stock balances and financial data integrity
- Processing journals and assisting with month-end close
About You
