Macildowie are working with a growing organisation within the gaming sector to recruit an ambitious Assistant Accountant to support their finance team at a critical point of growth. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of accounting responsibilities, working closely with the Finance Manager and contributing to accurate financial reporting and process improvement.
- Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger with accuracy and discipline
- Manage treasury tasks including bank reconciliations and credit card processing
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and internal reporting
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting analysis
- Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks when required
- Help strengthen financial controls and enhance reporting processes
AAT part or fully qualified
Previous experience in an assistant accountant or transactional finance role
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial control
Advanced Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office tools
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data
