The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function while supporting wider finance and office administration activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing weekly BACS payment runs
- Maintaining the cash book and posting supplier payments
- Liaising with suppliers regarding queries and payments
- Completing month-end reconciliations
- Managing petty cash
- Ordering stationery and office supplies
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
- Providing general administrative support to the finance function
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within an Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant position
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple priorities effectively
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
