The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established and growing business based in DE24, looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant. The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the finance department, gaining exposure across both purchase and sales ledger, as well as wider accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Supporting sales ledger, invoicing, and credit control activities
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
  • Bank reconciliations and cash allocation
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Supporting month-end close processes
  • Handling internal and external finance queries

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident Excel skills
  • Experience with accounting systems (Sage, Xero, SAP etc.)
  • A proactive and organised approach
