Strategic Finance Transformation Performance Manager We are supporting a large local authority in the appointment of a Strategic Finance Transformation Performance Manager .
This is a key role within Corporate Finance, providing strategic financial expertise and leading improvements across financial management, systems and processes.
The successful candidate will lead the Finance Service’s continuous improvement agenda , supporting the development of a modern and effective finance function.
This will include driving improvements to financial processes, promoting greater use of technology and automation, supporting the implementation of an ERP system and developing consistent approaches to budget monitoring, forecasting, financial modelling and financial controls.
You will also work closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders, providing high-quality financial analysis, modelling and advice to support decision-making.
A key part of the role will be developing financial management resources and delivering training to senior managers and budget holders, helping to strengthen financial capability and controls across the organisation.
