Finance Analyst β Interim (4-6 Months)
Leicestershire - Office Based
An established business based in Leicestershire is looking for a hands-on Finance Analyst to join the team on an interim basis for a minimum of 4-6 months, and able to start within the next 2 weeks.
The finance function is going through a period of change, and this role will play a key part in keeping day-to-day processes running smoothly while working in a wider finance team You'll be involved in everything from month-end and reconciliations to ad-hoc analysis and reporting, working closely with both finance and operational colleagues.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting management accounts production
- Maintaining finance trackers and reporting schedules in Excel
- Reviewing financial data and investigating discrepancies across ledgers and cost centres
- Liaising with operational teams to resolve data and reporting queries
- Getting involved in ad-hoc projects and analysis as the finance team navigates a period of transition
- Providing general support to the wider finance function as priorities shift
What we're looking for:
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Experience of month-end and reconciliation processes
- Previous experience in an analytical finance role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working through change β experience of system or process transitions is a bonus
The details:
- 4-6-month interim contract, immediate start
- Monday to Friday, 9amβ5pm
- Fully office based
