Finance Analyst – Interim (4-6 Months)
Leicestershire - Office Based

An established business based in Leicestershire is looking for a hands-on Finance Analyst to join the team on an interim basis for a minimum of 4-6 months, and able to start within the next 2 weeks.

The finance function is going through a period of change, and this role will play a key part in keeping day-to-day processes running smoothly while working in a wider finance team You'll be involved in everything from month-end and reconciliations to ad-hoc analysis and reporting, working closely with both finance and operational colleagues.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting with month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting management accounts production
  • Maintaining finance trackers and reporting schedules in Excel
  • Reviewing financial data and investigating discrepancies across ledgers and cost centres
  • Liaising with operational teams to resolve data and reporting queries
  • Getting involved in ad-hoc projects and analysis as the finance team navigates a period of transition
  • Providing general support to the wider finance function as priorities shift

What we're looking for:

  • Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
  • Experience of month-end and reconciliation processes
  • Previous experience in an analytical finance role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working through change β€” experience of system or process transitions is a bonus

The details:

  • 4-6-month interim contract, immediate start
  • Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
  • Fully office based
