Part-Time Finance Assistant β Temporary Contract
Location: Leicester
Contract: Temporary until December
Hours: 22 hours per week, part-time
Pay: Up to Β£13.50 per hour
We are looking for an organised and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team in Leicester on a part-time, temporary contract until December.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function and help ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Processing and accurately recording supplier invoices
- Preparing supplier payment runs
- Raising and issuing customer invoices
- Carrying out credit control and following up on outstanding payments
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Responding to supplier and customer account queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Undertaking ad hoc finance duties as required
About you
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role
- Be numerate, accurate and attentive to detail
- Have good organisational and time-management skills
- Be confident communicating with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Be able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Handle confidential information professionally
