Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Controller

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £24,000 – £25,000

Type: Full-Time, Office-Based

We have a new position for a Sales Ledger Clerk/Credit Controller to join a busy Accounts department. Please note this role is full time, on site at their Head Office in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening new credit accounts
  • Posting sales invoices to the ledger
  • Checking prices and stock notes
  • Raising and posting credit notes & journals
  • Processing payments received
  • Chasing payments by phone and email, managing inbox
  • Any other ad-hoc duties in house i.e. daily post

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a Sales Ledger / Credit Controller role is essential
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Keen attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
