MLST is the top technical AI YouTube podcast, where we interview the world's top scientists about the latest breakthroughs in AI and large language models. We also cover philosophy, linguistics, and cognitive science. We produce three tiers of videos: full podcasts, 10-minute clips, and 2-minute YouTube shorts. The clips and shorts require more editing, with rich storytelling and visuals/sound design.
Ideal Candidate
- Smart, knowledgeable, and interested in AI.
- Good at computers and familiar with custom software used in our pipeline.
- Experience with Davinci Resolve and Fusion.
- Deep understanding of storytelling, audio engineering, and sound design.
- Strong instinct for engaging a technical audience and visual aesthetics, including animations, composition, and texturing.
The quality of our work is at an extremely high standard. We understand that finding a candidate with all the required technical skills may be challenging. If you join our team, we will train you in colour grading, audio engineering, and motion graphics, providing a fun learning experience about cutting-edge AI.
Job Requirements
- Continuous video editing experience for the last 3 years as your primary focus.
- Willingness to work from our offices in Bracknell, living nearby.
- Proficiency in Davinci Resolve and Davinci Fusion.
- Adobe After Effects experience is useful.
- Familiarity with Spectral Layers/iZoTope RX11 and audio engineering VSTs.
- Experience using frontier LLMs.
- 3D engine experience or interest (e.g., Unreal Engine/Blender) is a big plus.
- Python knowledge is a huge plus.

- Editing longform, short form, and midform videos.
- Using our custom software to identify edits and communicate editing intentions with guests and customers.
