We are looking for Fabricator / Welders (Stainless Steel & Aluminium Pressure Vessels).
Pay: £13.50/hour (first 3 months), then £14/hour + £80 bonus
Overtime & Saturdays: Paid (after 40h)
Location: Birdwell, Barnsley
Immediate start: ASAP after interview and weld test
Experience needed: minimum 6 months
Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 (minimum), regular overtime available
Employment type: PAYE only (no self-employed)
The role:
- Welding stainless steel and aluminium components
- Fabrication and welding of pressure vessels
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- TIG welding to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks on finished work
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
About you:
- Proven experience welding stainless steel and aluminium
- Experience working on pressure vessels is highly desirable
- Qualifications are not essential; experience is more important
- Ability to pass a practical weld test
- Able to start work ASAP after interview
- Reliable, punctual and looking for long-term work
- Able to travel to Birdwell, Barnsley
