Mach have an exciting role for a H&S Advisor to join our Devonshire based FMCG client. In this role you will use your expertise and skills to promote high standard HSE in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the HSE Manager, to establish and promote an effective H&S Management system.
  • Work with colleagues to continually improve HSE performance, providing advice and support.
  • Prepare risk assessments in relation to: Human Factors, COSHH, DSEAR, Manual Handling, Machine Safety.
  • Maintain a database ensuring timely completion of actions to reduce risks.
  • Assist with training and education of teams.
  • Review method statements and risk assessments provided by organisations.
  • Lead and coordinate HSE training, inspections, audits and incident investigations.
  • Take part in HSE meetings, train and coach safety representatives, produce tool box talks, briefing and reports.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ideally from FMCG / manufacturing / logistics sector.
  • NEBOSH qualified.
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Keen approach to being in factory and shop floor building relationships with the teams.

Role: Monday to Friday (hybrid) 8.30am-4.30pm. Company Pension, 25 days leave plus BH, Training and Development.
