My client, a successful food manufacturer is seeking a New Product Development Technologist to ensure all new product launches are completed, on time, in full and right first time from conception.
The Role
- Plan, arrange, co‑ordinate and document trials
- Use trial data to review processes and seek ways in which to improve the process
- Produce factory trial plan, review with Process Development Manager, communicate with other members of team and production with key issues
- Facilitate and communicate customer pre‑pro's arranging both production and amenities
- You will be the NPD main point of contact on manufacturing lines
- Coach and assist others in the team and in Production
Skills and experience
- Food Technology Degree or equivalent experience
- Food Hygiene
- Ability to interpret customer specifications
- Product and Process knowledge
- Data capture and reporting skill
- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Project Management
- Knowledge of Customer and Brand Artwork Process
