My client, a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in the Middlesbrough area, is seeking a Senior Specifications Technologist to join their Technical department. You will take a key role in supporting the New Product Development Team and Technical teams to ensure product specifications and information is correct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure due diligence and take into consideration timescales, company procedures, legislation, and customer codes of practice.
- Ensuring that correct technical information is on correct packaging.
- Attendance at customer meetings.
- To ensure you keep up to date with current legislation and company policies.
- Ensuring that raw materials specifications are assessed according to standards.
- Reviewing analytical data.
- Be compliant with customer requirements.
- Support to production to provide solutions.
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene.
- Basic understanding of Microbiology and Nutrition.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Food Manufacturing.
- Experience working with major retailers.
Role: Days Mon- Friday, 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: DOE
